The all-new 2020 Jeep® Gladiator is a midsize truck that will haul, tow, and go off-road with impressive capability. As the only open-air pick-up1 on the market, it's raising the bar for ingenious design and formidable strength.
At first glance, the Gladiator bears a striking resemblance to the Wrangler—but a closer look reveals some telling distinctions:
The Gladiator's front exterior makes a bold first impression with wide grille slat openings to improve engine cooling. The five-foot steel trailer bed offers abundant open-air storage with an aluminum tailgate. Its spare 35-inch tire is hidden beneath the vehicle, rather than the rear-mounted styling of the Wrangler.
Structurally, the Gladiator updates the Wrangler's ladder frame, extending it more than two feet to give rear passengers additional legroom. Packing your gear in the cabin is simple thanks to rear seat bases that can rotate upward to reveal two storage bins. Choose the Overland trim for additional power features like automatic climate control and 18-inch alloy wheels.
When equipped with the Sport trim's available 8-speed automatic transmission and towing package, the Gladiator is rated to tow up to 7,650 pounds. This eclipses the Wrangler's tow capacity by more than 4,000 pounds. In fact, the Gladiator boasts Best-in-Class towing and payload, blowing away the competition2.
